EasyAccess 2.0

Weintek's EasyAccess 2.0 is an advanced proprietary VPN solution, part of the Weincloud ecosystem, designed specifically to give secure remote access to human-machine interfaces (HMIs) and to the peripheral equipment connected to them. In modern control and maintenance engineering, the platform removes complex infrastructure barriers, letting automation engineers carry out diagnostics, programming and real-time monitoring from anywhere in the world, without having to be on site. Topologically, EasyAccess 2.0 works much like a standard VPN, but it is optimised purely for industrial environments. The communication architecture uses outbound tunnelling, which means that both the engineering station (PC/laptop) and the HMI panel open secure connections to the dedicated servers. That removes the need to configure static public IP addresses, to set up port forwarding in routers, or to change the strict security policies of local IT firewalls.

Every data flow and network packet sent through the VPN channel is fully secured with advanced encryption based on TLS/SSL, which guarantees the integrity of industrial information and protects against man-in-the-middle attacks

Native integration with the event servers means push notifications, instant messages or e-mails can be sent straight to engineers' mobile devices (iOS/Android) whenever critical alarms are triggered in the HMI logic.
